FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has taken strict action against illegal commercial use of properties and unapproved housing schemes.
As per the FDA spokesman, the sales offices and premises of five illegal housing schemes including Sarbuland City, Pacific City, Maqbool Town, Eman Villas, and Azafi Abadi were sealed due to incomplete code requirements.
Similarly, Estate Officer Imtiaz Ali Goraya discovered 14 plots used for illegal commercial purposes in Madina Town, including Plot No.56 Chenab Market, Plot No.8.Z.J, 10. Z.J., 16. Z.J., 18. Z.J, 3.X.ISR, 5.X.ISR, 9.X.ISR, 21, 23, 50, 67.X.ISR, 42.X.19, and KSR-11X, leading to the sealing of their premises.
FDA assures that further action against the owners of these properties is in progress.
Besides, the FDA has been actively taking action against illegal commercial use of properties and unapproved housing schemes to ensure the safety and security of residents.
Moreover, the authority has warned the public against investing in unauthorized schemes as they are illegal and threaten public safety.
The spokesman added that these actions are part of the FDA’s ongoing efforts to regulate the real estate sector in Faisalabad and prevent fraudulent practices.
