FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has decided to issue smart cards to the citizens after it accelerated digitalizing record of residential and commercial areas in the city.
It was announced in a meeting presided over by the Director General (DG) FDA, Abid Hussain Bhatti.
As per the details, the DG assessed the digitalization process and directed the concerned officials to expedite the process to finish it on time.
The concerned department was also instructed to ensure transparency while digitalizing the record.
It was determined that the FDA controlled 18 residential colonies and 17 commercial marketplaces. After records are fully computerized, smart cards will be given to property owners in FDA-controlled regions.
