ISLAMABAD: Senator Ishaq Dar, the federal minister of finance and revenue, was visited by Eighteen Elite Real Estate CEO, Tarek Hamdy, on Monday at the finance division.
As per the details, officials from the Finance Division, economist Saleem Farrukh, former senator Saleem Saifullah, and Tariq Bajwa were present at the meeting.
The minister was informed by Tarek Hamdy on the background of his firm, a subsidiary investment initiative of well-known Egyptian tycoon Naguib Sawiris, as well as his future investment ambitions in Pakistan.
Besides, it was also disclosed that the Egyptian businessman wishes to strengthen his existing commercial relationships with Pakistan in the telecommunications and real estate industries.
Furthermore, Hamdy also underlined the Egyptian businessman’s ambition to invest in other industries in Pakistan.
Additionally, the Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris’ donation was welcomed and acknowledged by Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, who also noted that the current administration encourages foreign direct investment and creates a favorable climate for international investors.
He continued by saying that the incumbent government was making every effort to make it easy and welcoming for international investors to take advantage of Pakistan’s investment prospects.
Egyptian Investments in Pakistan have unwavering support and facilitation, the minister added.
