Federal Minister Lays Foundation Stone of OPF Housing Scheme Raiwind

LAHORE: The foundation stone for a multi-story building for overseas Pakistanis at the OPF Housing Scheme Raiwind Road, Lahore, was laid by the federal minister for overseas Pakistanis and human resources development, Sajid Hussain Turi.

According to a press release, the building would include 21 levels dedicated to stores, malls, and other commercial activities.

Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi remarked that every attempt was being made to address the problems that overseas Pakistanis were facing.

A No Objection Certificate (NOC), he claimed, would also be given allowing Overseas Pakistanis to work wherever in the country.

He said that initiatives were being made to send overseas Pakistani youngsters for higher education as well as reserve quotas for them in all universities.

According to a federal minister, more labor-friendly initiatives are being started, and stated that 5,000 additional apartments would be given to workers before the end of the month.
