FGEHA Set to Launch 8 New Housing Projects Across Major Cities

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) plans to start new residential projects across 8 major cities of Pakistan including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

According to sources in the Ministry of Housing and Works, new housing projects would be launched for the general public and federal government employees on a joint-venture basis.

The sources claimed that new residential developments including plots, houses, and flats would be introduced in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, and Karachi.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that the land owners, businesses, and firms have been asked to submit their expressions of interest (EOI), so that the further process could be expedited.

In this regard, the proposals were being sought from eligible people and landowners, developers, and corporations for the provision of land for housing schemes in the aforementioned cities.

Besides, the sources confirmed that the Joint Venture Regulations 2020 would govern the applications for acquiring the land for the projects and their selection criteria as well.

Additionally, it was also informed that by December 22, applications for expressing interest in FGEHA residential projects would be received by the authority.
