ABBOTTABAD: The audit report for the fiscal year 2021-22 has implicated the former board and administration of the Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad for financial irregularities amounting to millions of rupees.
As per the details, these irregularities encompassed excessive housing subsidies, payments to employees residing in rented apartments, misappropriation in equipment purchases, and unremitted revenue.
The Director General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Audit has urged authorities to take legal action against the individuals responsible and work towards recovering the losses incurred.
Dr. Athar Lodhi, the Director of Ayub Medical Complex, has affirmed the commitment to initiating appropriate actions against those involved in the financial misappropriations.
