GWADAR: The Gwadar Development Authority has planned to launch the first-ever Business District to promote more business prospects in the coastal city.
According to the details, the estimated cost for this project is over PKR 90 billion and will be covering an area of 12.3 square kilometers.
The Director General GDA, Mujeeb ur Rehman Qambrani, shared that the project will be completed within a span of 10 years having an estimated earning potential of PKR 400 billion.
He also said that in order to cater to large industrial bases and fulfill future demands, the project would be having cutting-edge infrastructure.
He said that 100 megawatts of Iranian solar energy would be used to power the project.
He emphasized that the project would support other CPEC initiatives like the largest airport in Asia, which will open in 2023, and a railway network connecting Gwadar with Karachi and other regions of the country, as well as other CPEC initiatives.
