‘Govt Committed to Low-Cost Housing Despite Economic Crisis’

ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, Minister for Housing and Works, Maulana Abdul Wasay, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing affordable housing and shelter to vulnerable segments of society despite the economic crisis.

The minister made this statement while inaugurating a 2.5km footpath constructed by Pak-PWD at Bani Gala.

As per the details, the footpath was initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Works to improve the area’s pedestrian network and reduce accidents.

Federal Secretary Ministry of Housing and Works, Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, was also present on the occasion.

He lauded the efforts of the PWD team and highlighted the expected benefits of the footpath in improving pedestrian safety and accessibility in the area.

The completion of the project reflects the government’s efforts to enhance the country’s infrastructure, the minister added.
