Gujranwala to be Linked with Lahore-Sialkot Motorway

LAHORE: The Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, declared the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway to be linked with Gujranwala.

As per the details, the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation met with Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and former federal minister Moonis Elahi at the Chief Minister’s Office.

The CM stated that the industrialists would find it simple to transport their goods to other cities and declared that additional cities would also be connected by this motorway.

He pointed out that the Lahore-Sialkot Highway was originally designed under the previous administration, but sadly, the PML-N-led government amended the concept, increasing the cost and preventing the connection of several other cities to the motorway.

Furthermore, Elahi stated thatΒ  Gujranwala was his hometown where he would pay the visit as well, adding that, the issues of residents would be addressed as the government was also examining the creation of a new industrial estate.

The delegation noted that they were prepared for financial help and offered to collaborate on the project with the Punjab government.

Besides, they also commended the efforts of CM for founding a model organization like Rescue 1122 and appreciated the announcement of the Gujranwala-Lahore-Sialkot Motorway connection.

  1. Congratulations πŸŽ‰
Gujranwala demand can easily b handled to link with Sialkot Motorway at the village Dhoop Suure.
After link on this point Gujranwala and Eminabad Town and it’s surrounding people’s can easily travel in short cut Lahore and Sialkot and after completing road towards kharian etc

  2. Good effort but I think may the government need to extend one track more for sialkot motorway as well becoaz after that traffic will increase on two tracks

  3. Ugar bajco group Niazi bay ghairat ko na latay to aj Pakistan k halat kuch aour hotay
But Pakistan ke bad luck k niazi ko hum per masalat kia gia
Aour Niazi nay Pakistan ko barbad kar dia

  4. Ch pervez ELahi is a man of religious and moral qualities and a well manner CM than all of the CM from Pakistan may he live long and serve the nation for ever

  5. Roads are the back bone of any country in the area of agriculture. Industries and all systems of livings.
Injured backbone never allow the organs to work. All roads of the country should be treated as motorways for rapid growth of economy.
    All departments will run fastly.
Youth and roads are being neglected to participate in the race of development since 2018
This connection of motorway s is the best decision among these cities of industries.
