RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has initiated an operation to address encroachments in Millat Colony, resulting in the demolition of four walls, six sheds, and four grills and fences.
In an official press release, it was reported that the RDA’s estate management team, in collaboration with the local police, executed the operation to reclaim land from unauthorized constructions and encroachments in the area.
RDA’s Director General, Saif Anwar Jappa, has explicitly instructed the enforcement squad to carry out stringent actions against any illegal and unauthorized residential as well as commercial construction activities.
According to the spokesperson, the operation underscores the RDA’s commitment to curbing encroachments and ensuring fair implementation of regulations without any bias or discrimination.
