ISLAMABAD: IMARAT Group of Companies recently held a ceremonial ground-breaking ceremony to officially launch the construction of Grand Bazaar as their most recent project.
The Grand Bazar, which is synonymous with Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, is situated in Islamabad Downtown at the PWD interchange.
The project aims to support regional and independent retailers by offering flexible-priced stores featuring a bridal market, a gold souk, a spice bazaar, a crockery market, a tailored market, an artisan zone, and more.
As per the master plan of the project, it introduces traditional and modern design inspirations to give high functionality, having the potential to attract more opportunities and initiatives.
“We are excited to get started on this one-of-a-kind marketplace,” said CEO and Chairman Shafiq Akbar.
“Our idea will soon be transformed into a true, more equitable community, which will revolutionize our society’s commercial environment,” he added.
It is to note that the Grand Bazar is next to IMARAT’s two well-known constructions, the IMARAT Residences and the Mall of Arabia, while Graana.com and Agency 21 are also subsidiaries of this group ensuring a healthy track record.
