Interim CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi Calls for Timely Project Completion

LAHORE: The interim Chief Minister of Punjab, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, has issued directives to prioritize completing ongoing development projects within their specified timelines.

As per the details, this directive was conveyed during a special meeting held on Monday, as reported by the sources.

The details also suggest that Naqvi presided over the meeting to assess the progress of various development initiatives, emphasizing the importance of adhering to project completion deadlines.

Expressing his firm stance, CM Naqvi underscored that any delays in project completion would not be tolerated.

During the briefing, it was revealed that the Akbar Chowk flyover project had reached an impressive 83% completion rate, while the Nawaz Sharif Interchange, Bedian Road underpass project had attained 71% completion.

Additionally, the Shahdara flyover project was reportedly nearing its final stages, with a commendable 90% completion rate.

The Chief Minister also discussed a project involving road expansion and footpath development in front of Data Durbar.

In addition, the meeting also addressed issues related to the remodeling of Garhi Shahu Chowk.

Similarly, Naqvi ordered the expedited commencement of the Central Business District (CBD) project in Rawalpindi.

The meeting saw the presence of provincial ministers Amir Mir and Azfar Ali Nasir, Chief Secretary, Lahore Commissioner, Senior Member of the Board of Revenue, and Secretaries from various departments.
