ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to accelerate the development projects for overseas Pakistanis.
The meeting was focused on CDA’s projects for overseas Pakistanis, where the finance minister directed to hold balloting of the Nilore Heights-1 project exclusively developed for overseas Pakistanis before the 8th of next month.
The meeting was briefed on the provision of commercial and residential plots for overseas Pakistanis on an open auction basis.
It was informed that the registration for plots in C-14 and C-16 sectors for overseas Pakistanis will begin in the next phase, and special facilitation desks have been established to assist overseas Pakistanis.
Dar has also directed to expedite work on Kuri and Overseas Enclave projects.
He further directed that incentives should be given to investors who pay the amount in US dollars for the auction of commercial plots so that foreign exchange reserves could be further boosted.
Moreover, a scheme for the auction of plots in the C-14 and C-16 sectors should be ready by the mid of May.
