ISLAMABAD: Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Captain Retired Noor ul Amin Mengal, has announced plans to establish seven new weekly bazaars in the capital after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The move aims to provide greater convenience to residents, with the CDA preparing new Sunday bazaars to meet the city’s growing needs.
In addition to the new bazaars, the CDA has identified around 2,000 locations for permits to be issued for uniformly designed kiosks through a competitive process, creating new employment opportunities.
Under this plan, a middle-class individual can obtain a piece of land through an open auction from the CDA and either run their own business or rent it out to someone with the necessary expertise.
Mr. Mengal also revealed plans to launch three new development projects, including an underpass in front of the Serena Hotel on Srinagar Highway, Jinnah Avenue widening, and Park Road widening.
However, he acknowledged that mega development projects have been slow in progress, but he assured that most of them would be completed by June this year.
On the environmental front, Chairman Mengal expressed his love for planting trees in the city, with a green fund created for coordinated use of 2 percent of the total cost of any development project.
The Chairman also hinted at giving multipurpose grounds, including a clubhouse in sector F-6, to the private sector for better management.

گزارش ھے کہ جناب نور الاامین مینگل صاحب دارالحکومت اسلام آباد کی خوبصورتی کو چار چاند لگانے کے لئے دن رات کوشاں ہیں مگر مشاہدے میں آیا ھے کہ ماضی کے چئیرمین صاحبان نے ایسے ھی منصوبے تجویز کرتے تھے مگر اچانک ان کے تبادلے کا حکم نامہ جاری ھو
جاتا تھا تو ان سب کے بیشتر منصوبے یا چئیرمین جرم کرکے اپنے طریقے سے کام شروع کر دیتا تھا.
اندریں حالات تجویز پیش خدمت ھے کہ جناب مینگل نے اپنے مختصر دورانئے مین جو حیرانکن کارھائے سر انجام دئیے ہین ان کے حفاظت اور مکمل ھونے تک کا ایسا بندوبست کریں تاکہ اگر خدانخواستہ جناب مینگل صاحب کا تبادلہ بھی ھو جائے تو ان کے تخلیق کردہ پراجیکٹس تکمیل
کے آخری مرحلے تک جاری و ساری رہیں تاکہ اسلام آباد کی تعمیر و ترقی کا عمل پائیہ تکمیل کو پہنچے .
علاوہ ازیں میں نے پاکستان سیٹیزن پورٹل کی وساطت سے ایک تاریخی حوالے سے خوبصورت یادگاری مینار بنانے کی تجویز دی تھی کہ بانی پاکستان حضرت قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح صاحب نے 1946 مین سری نگر کشمیر سے واپس راولپنڈی آتے ھوئے بہارہ کہو مل پور راجگان کے مقام قیام پاکستان کے حوالے مقامی آبادی کے اجتماع سے خطاب کیا تھا. میں نے تجویز پیش کی تھی کہ اس جگہ ایک خوبصورت یادگاری مینار بنا دیا جائے تاکہ قائد اعظم کے دورہ کشمیر اور مقامی لوگوں کے اجتماع کو تاریخ کا حصہ بنا کر آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ایک خوب صورت تفریحی مقام کا اضافہ ھو جائے گا جو مری جانے والے سیاحوں کے لیے کشش کا باعث ھو گا.
گزشتہ سال اس تجویز پر عملدرآمد اور منظوری کے لئے مجاز اتھارٹی کو بھیجنے کے سی ڈی اے ڈائریکٹر پلاننگ جناب فراز ملک نے کیس سی ڈی بورڈ میں رکھنا تھا مگر ایک سال سے زائد کا عرصہ ھو گیا اس کا کوئی آتا پتہ نہیں.
استدعا ھے کہ پلاننگ ڈائریکٹوریٹ کے ریکارڈ سے اس فائل کو تلاش کرکے جناب چئیرمین صاحب کی خدمت میں رپورٹ پیش کی جائے. شکریہ

Please consider comprehensive instead of B-17 or ie City Managers Watch-dogs for the purpose of business
3. Green planetary schemes are also started in various route, the new Margalla Hills road from Sangjani to
E-11 is being Noddle’s without any tree is planted by the FWO/NLC. Please ensure to the same move of green trees should be started as soon as possible without further delay for the protect of Celsius environments hazards.
