In a statement, the KDA reported that it had identified 172 plots where commercial activities were taking place and issued notices to the owners for violating the terms of their lease deeds.
The activities were taking place on 38 plots in Block 1, 45 plots in Block 2, 23 in Block 4, 37 in Block 5, 10 each in Block 7, and Block 8 and 15 in Block 9.
The owners have been given seven days to stop these commercial activities and use their plots only for residential purposes.
