KARACHI: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, at the request of the KPC governing body, has changed the name of the famous Fawara Chowk.
The new name of the old and renowned Fawara Chowk, which is close to the Governor House, is KPC (Karachi Press Club) Roundabout.
On Monday, Administrator Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman delivered the renaming notification to the KPC governing council.
As per the details, on January 11, the administrator granted the go-ahead to rename Fawara Chowk.
The administrator was praised by KPC President Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary Shoaib Ahmed for authorizing the roundabout’s name.
