KP Government Releases PKR 150Mn for Uplift Projects in Tank

TANK: The Deputy Commissioner of the district of Tank, Hameedullah Khattak, announced that the district administration will ensure the timely completion of various uplift projects in the area, following the release of an allocated amount of PKR 150 million by the provincial government for these schemes.

In a statement, the DC stated that the funds would enable the administration to carry out the construction of the Tank main road, which was currently ongoing and estimated to cost around PKR 72.553 million.

He also announced that solar lights would be installed at the main locations in Tank, at a cost of PKR 6 million.

He mentioned that this had been a long-standing demand of the city residents, as it would help prevent potential criminal incidents.

Furthermore, PKR 3 million will be allocated to the installation of street lights at Tung bazaar, and PKR 2 million will be used for the installation of signboards in the main bazaar, in an effort to improve the overall rehabilitation of the area.
