KP Governor Commences Construction of Bara-Pishtakhara Road

PESHAWAR: KP Governor Ghulam Ali led the inauguration ceremony for the construction of the Bara-Pishtakhara Road on Monday.

Several caretaker cabinet members, including Minister for Excise and Taxation Manzoor Khan Afridi, Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Taj Muhammad Afridi, Minister for Law Irshad Qaiser, and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Revenue Pir Haroon Shah, were present during the event.

The governor highlighted that the Bara-Pishtakhara Road project, estimated to cost Rs. 775 million, would greatly benefit thousands of people from Bara and Peshawar.

Recognizing the growing issue of unemployment, he emphasized that providing employment opportunities and essential facilities to tribal communities remained a top priority for the government.

Governor also expressed his appreciation for the unparalleled sacrifices made by the security forces and tribal people in establishing peace and tranquility in the region.

He acknowledged the impact of prolonged militancy on the education sector in Bara Tehsil and assured that efforts would be made to reconstruct the damaged schools in the area.

Moreover, he emphasized that strict adherence to timelines and efficient implementation of development projects would be ensured without any compromise.

Additionally, Governor Ghulam Ali announced the provision of two ambulances for Dogra Hospital in the Bara and Hassankhel areas, further enhancing healthcare services in the region.
