KP Govt Plans to Connect Bannu City with Indus Highway through 26km Road

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has planned to construct a 26km road to connect Bannu City with the Indus Highway.

According to the details, the project was expected to cost PKR 7.68 billion initially, which now has risen to PKR 9.98 billion.

The officials state that the cost might rise further as the project is still in its early stages.

As per the Provincial Communication and Works Department, the project was designed to fulfill the necessity for a well-built road that will connect Indus Highway with Bannu City.

Additionally, the government is still analyzing the feasibility and once it is done, the construction work will be expedited.
