KP Plans to Develop First-Ever Integrated Tourism Zones in Swat and Mansehra

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (CTA) has planned to develop Integrated Tourism Zones (ITZs) to promote tourism and enhance socioeconomic development in the province.

As per the details, ITZs spanning over 60 acres shall be developed in Ganool with an expected cost of PKR 5.5 billion.

Additionally, the ITZs are also planned for places that welcome a huge number of tourists every year, these include Lake Saif ul Malook, Lake Dudi Patsar, Piyala Lake, Siri Paae, Shogran, and Kaghan Valley.

Similarly, the ITZs, expected to be developed with a cost of PKR 2.9 billion, will neighbor Jarogo Valley, Katora Lake Waterfall, Jabba Lake, and Swat Valley.

It is important to mention that the ITZs would be developed with a total cost of PKR 12.2 billion.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has also directed the authorities to complete the projects within the specified time.

I am willing to give my Swat villa Europian Mediterian style made all with local wood and best handcrafstman mastery, with all modern facilities, all kind developed gardens and natural waterfalls, adjacent to the forest mountain but just near to the main road, measuring 7 kanal.   2. Its a great step ,but what’s about tourist place jabori,mundi, domail,,dadar,sumb why our kp government not getting attention towards these tourist places

Excellent move by the kp government but unfortunately there is no opportunity for the students of Tourism & Hotel Management.The kp or Federal government didn’t announce a single seat for Tourism students, how it is possible to develop the tourism industry of Pakistan. Plz must think about tourism graduate me and thousands of others students are waiting for jobs in Tourism organizations. Thanks 🙏
