Lahore Commissioner Cracks Down on Unauthorized Road Work and Encroachments

LAHORE: Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali has issued instructions to the concerned Departments to file a case against the unauthorized work being done on roads and service lanes without obtaining the necessary NOC.

Additionally, a notice of only two days has been given to remove any encroachments on the remaining commercial buildings.

To ensure proper municipal supervision of roads, a joint platform is being created between Punjab Safe City and the courts.

This platform aims to enforce strict measures to prevent any further unauthorized work on roads and service lanes.

The Commissioner has emphasized the importance of ensuring that all work on public property is carried out in compliance with regulations and legal requirements. Any violations will be met with strict consequences.
