LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has scheduled a grand public auction for numerous commercial properties, set to take place tomorrow, October 4, at the LDA Community Centre in 9 Civic Centre Garden Town.
Topping the list of properties is the entire first floor of the Liberty Park and Ride Plaza located in the upscale Gulberg area. These shops will be available for a 5-year lease, targeting large business groups or parties interested in securing prime retail space. To further incentivize entrepreneurs, LDA is offering a generous 3-month grace period for the shops within the plaza.
Other prime properties up for grabs include a marquee site in Jubilee Town and a coveted parking site in Gulshan-e-Ravi.
Additionally, a selection of residential and commercial plots from LDA-managed societies such as Jubilee Town, Avenue One, Tajpura, Mustafa Town, Quaid-e-Azam Town, Sabzazar, and New Garden Town will also be on the auction block.
In a bid to further develop the city’s infrastructure and provide opportunities for businesses and individuals alike, public utility sites from various private societies within Lahore will also be presented for auction.
This event is expected to draw significant attention from investors and business groups, given the prime locations and potential for growth. The LDA’s move is seen as a proactive approach to boost the city’s commercial landscape and provide ample opportunities for businesses to thrive.
