LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has razed seven unauthorized private housing developments on Tuesday.
The authority demolished illegal commercial buildings, under-construction roads, sewerage systems, and projects including:
- Eden Canal Villas
- Aftab Homes
- Noman Block
- Nespak Society
- Alnasar Homes
- Chanar Bagh
- GCP Post Office Site
- OPF Farm Housing Scheme
The LDA also closed down unauthorized stores and scheme offices. Police and law enforcement officers were also present during the operation.
The LDA’s Director General stated that the agency would not accept unlawful buildings and that the operation would continue.
