LDA Seals 13 Properties in Lahore for Non-Payment of Commercial Fee

LAHORE: In a recent operation against non-payment of commercial fees, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed 13 properties in the provincial capital.

The operation was carried out on Wednesday by a special team of Town Planning Zone-VII, led by Chief Ayesha Mutahir and Deputy Director Umar Majeed, on the directions of Director General LDA, Amir Ahmed Khan.

According to the details, the team took action against violators in Quaid-E-Azam Town Peco Road.

It is worth noting that special teams from different Town Planning Zones had already sealed dozens of shops, showrooms, marriage halls, and academies over the past 10 days due to non-payment of annual commercialization fees.

The LDA has been taking strict actions against the violators to ensure the collection of commercialization fees and to promote compliance with commercial regulations.

The sealing of properties is part of the LDA’s ongoing efforts to ensure that commercial properties and businesses are operating within the legal framework and are contributing to the development of the city.

Moreover, the LDA has urged all commercial property owners to fulfill their legal obligations and pay their annual commercialization fees on time to avoid any legal action against them.

The authority has been actively working towards promoting a culture of compliance with commercial regulations and ensuring the smooth functioning of commercial activities in Lahore.

The sealing of properties is just one of the many steps taken by the LDA to promote transparency and accountability in the commercial sector.

It is expected that the LDA will continue its efforts to take strict actions against those who violate commercial regulations and do not pay their annual commercialization fees.

Furthermore, the LDA has also urged citizens to report any violations of commercial regulations and non-payment of commercialization fees to the relevant authorities to ensure that strict action is taken against the violators.
