LDA to Convene an Open Court in Johar Town

LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will hold an open court (Kachehri) on Thursday at the LDA office in Johar Town to address citizens’ grievances regarding property affairs.

The Punjab Minister for Housing, Mian Aslam Iqbal, the Punjab Secretary for Housing, Mian Shakeel, and LDA Director General, Amir Ahmed Khan, will listen to and address the issues of the citizenry, an LDA spokesperson said on Wednesday.

According to LDA Director General Amir Ahmed Khan, the Authority will hold an open court (Kachehri) every Friday at One Window Cell, where any citizen may attend and present their concerns that will be dealt with in order of priority.

It is to note here that LDA expedited its operations on recent instructions of Minister Housing Mian Aslam Iqbal who stressed on redressing the real estate grievances of the general public on a priority basis.
