LAHORE: Several officers of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) were recently appointed and transferred by Commissioner Lahore and DG Lahore Development Authority, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
The reshuffle included the appointment of Akbar Nakai, DG Headquarters Officer, as Additional DG Education and Kachi Abadis, while Asif Hussain was named Director DG Headquarters.
Khurram Yaqoob, who previously held the position of Deputy Director, was promoted to Director Housing (Nine) and was given the additional charge of Director Housing (Seven).
Furthermore, Deputy Director Sabtain Raza Qureshi was posted as Deputy Director Law (Appellate Court), and the additional charge of Director Law was withdrawn from Deputy Director Waqas Baig.
Ali Saeed Asghar was given the additional charge of Secretary LOS, while this charge was taken away from Dy Director Sarmad Zameer Khan.
The Commissioner also directed the establishment of a counter in LDA One Window Cell to facilitate senior citizens and special persons.
According to the spokesman, the changes were implemented to streamline LDA’s operations and improve efficiency.
