KOHAT: On Monday, a young man was shot dead, and his uncle was injured in Jungle Khel town over a land dispute.
The Jungle Khel police reported that the assailants sprayed Umer Farooq, 22, and his uncle, Mustafa, with bullets before escaping.
The sources suggest that Farooq died instantly while Mustafa was critically injured.
The body and the injured were taken to the KDA Teaching Hospital before the body was released to the family after postmortem.
Besides, the father of the deceased accused Uzaifa and Shah Fahad of the murder, leading the police to file an FIR under sections 302 and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
