Mayor Peshawar Announces Residential Scheme for Metropolitan Department

PESHAWAR: A residential colony would be built for the government of the Capital Metropolitan, according to Peshawar’s mayor, Haji Zubair Ali.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, the mayor also instructed officials from the Capital Metropolitan Department to tour various areas of the city on November 1, to find a suitable location for a residential colony.

Furthermore, the officials of the Capital Metropolitan Government have developed a plan to determine the amount of space needed for the colony.

Besides, Mayor Peshawar has stated that the community would include a mosque, school, dispensary, tube well, and playground in addition to all the necessities of life while promising that the project would be brought to fruition at the earliest.

Previously, he also stated that 800 Kanals of land would be purchased in two locations, Pir Zakori Bridge and Northern Bypass, to alleviate an additional burden on the employees by offering plots at a cost that would be taken from their housing subsidy.
