PESHAWAR: The patience of the merchants in waiting for the construction of the skyscraper parking plaza at Namak Mandi has been acknowledged by the mayor of Peshawar, Haji Zubair Ali.
The mayor also assured full cooperation in their worries over the allotment of space in the parking plaza, during a meeting with the local traders.
Besides, Arshad Ali, the director general of Capital Metropolitan, Mian Anees, the director of property management, Mehar Elahi, the merchants’ leader, and several other traders were present at the meeting.
Speaking at the occasion, Mayor Peshawar acknowledged the rights of the vendors in the parking plaza that was still under construction, and assured everyone that legitimate requests would be taken into consideration.
Additionally, he addressed their worries about parking plaza allocation during their conversation and gave them 10 days to provide the necessary documents to go forward.
Furthermore, he also advised businessmen to communicate with Peshawar Metropolitan’s property division to get their issues resolved at the earliest.
