PESHAWAR: The Mayor of Peshawar, Zubair Ali, has shown interest in developing the provincial capital and restoration of historical places.
He shared that the restoration and development of the city were his priority.
According to the details, the mayor has planned to restore the heritage trail, Gor Khatri and Chowk Yadgar and it also includes 10 public toilets which are already underway.
The mayor has stated that the sewerage systems and sanitation shall be improved and maintained.
He shared that development work has also begun for the restoration of the Ghantaghar and anti-encroachment operations will also be carried out throughout the city.
He further said that the shopkeepers would not be allowed to occupy the footpaths and in case of non-compliance, strict actions shall be taken against them.
