MULTAN: On Thursday, Jawad Kaleem Ullah, the managing director (MD) of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), told the contractors to work more quickly and warned that delays in current development projects would not be allowed.
According to the sources, these orders were given by MD WASA while he visited to inspect the current uplift efforts.
The MD gave instructions that in all ongoing WASA initiatives, there must not be any compromise on quality and high standards of work.
Furthermore, Jawad prioritized the provision of inhabitants with water and drainage infrastructure as well as the prompt settlement of grievances.
He gave the directive to expedite the work on sewerage-related development projects to guarantee completion within the allotted time frame.
He also instructed the sewerage authorities to regularly check on the uplift projects.
On the occasion, Assistant Directors Fazlur Rehman, Mahr Mumtaz, and Deputy Directors Engineering, Rai Muhammad Sajid, were also present.
