ISLAMABAD: State Interior Minister, Abdul Rehman Khan Kanju, has briefed the National Assembly regarding the development work on the IJP road.
The minister revealed that 64% of the construction has been completed on the IJP road and the project will be completed by April 14, 2023.

He further shared details about the project that it will include 2 flyovers at 9th Avenue and 1 at Faqeer Aipee Road.
He added that there would be 4 lanes on each side of the IJP Road along with two bridges at Kararian and Pirwadhai.
The minister further said that in order to ensure smooth traffic flow, additional traffic police officers are present on the road during rush hours.
