Minister Industries Orders Expediting Work on Uplift Projects

KARACHI: Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo of the Sindh Industries and Cooperative Department has instructed the concerned authorities to expedite work on development plans and finish them by the deadline.

He presided over a meeting in his office on Monday along with Tariq Anwer Khokhar, MD of Sindh Small Industries, and other key officers.

The meeting was informed by Tariq Khokhar that there were 9 active development initiatives, all of which will be finished for Rs. 756 million, of which Rs. 137 million had already been used.

Furthermore, 8 ongoing development works totaling Rs. 397 million in cost were disclosed to the gathering by Shahid Shah, adding that ADP also incorporated 5 new development plans.

Speaking at the event, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo stated that the Sindh government was dedicated to establishing better infrastructure in industrial zones and that it was important to finish development projects on schedule to assist industrialists and inspire them to start new businesses.

He asserted that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah were enthusiastic about the development of industry in Sindh and were making every effort to address any problems about industrial zones.
