ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Housing and Works has established a laboratory on the site of Alipur Frash’s low-cost housing project for government employees to test the quality of construction materials.
“The laboratory will not only help test the materials used in construction work, but it will also save time for the laborers working on the site,” a Ministry of Housing and Works official told APP.
According to the official, approximately 1,000 workers are currently deployed on the project site, and the workforce will be increased from 3,000 to 5,000 in the coming days to expedite work on the project.
He stated that Minister of Housing and Works Maulana Wasay had already directed all affiliated contractors to speed up the pace of ongoing housing projects to provide modern residential facilities to government employees and setting up this lab is one of those efforts.
