LAHORE: The Secretary of Housing Sajid Zafar and Additional Secretary Technical Umar Farooq, who are part of the committee overseeing the Samanabad Underpass project, visited the site on the instructions of Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi.
The purpose of their visit was to assess the progress of the ongoing work and ensure that the project is completed on time.
During the visit, they inspected the construction work and observed the additional machinery and staff that have been deployed to expedite the project.
The details suggest that Commissioner Lahore, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and Chief Engineer LDA provided a briefing, highlighting the improved speed and quality of the work.
Besides, they also emphasized that a quality report is being obtained from the NESPAK team at each stage to ensure that the work meets the required standards.
