MULTAN: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Waste Management Company (WMC) has given instructions to commence cleaning operations ahead of the upcoming Eid-al-Azha festival.
During a meeting, Shahid Yaqoob directed the staff to ensure the clearance of all filth depots and waste bins before the festival of sacrifice.
The CEO emphasized the need to double the number of bins and collection points in preparation for the approaching holy Muslim celebration.
Yaqoob expressed satisfaction that tenders had already been issued for the procurement of additional dampers, loaders, and other operational machinery.
Furthermore, the senior manager of operations, Faheem Lodhi, visited the company workshop and parking yard as directed by the CEO.
Besides, he also received detailed briefings on the machinery and loaders that require repairs before Eid.
