Newly Appointed DG RDA Vows to Expedite Action Against Illegal Constructions

RAWALPINDI: Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the newly appointed Director General (DG) of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), assumed control of the position on Thursday.

Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, Additional Commissioner (Coordination) Rawalpindi, had been transferred by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GD) Government of Punjab and posted as DG RDA.

After taking over the position, the DG RDA gave the officers and staff of the RDA instructions to enhance the RDA’s performance and contribute positively to the city’s development.

According to him, the ongoing RDA operations against unauthorized and illegal commercial and residential construction activities, booking offices, and encroachments would be sped up.

The RDA officers and staff were instructed by Saif Anwar Jappa to put in a sincere effort to help the citizens.

The former DG RDA Capt. (r) Tahir Zafar Abbasi’s services were also acknowledged at the time, and it was said that they were commendable for the organization and would be remembered.
