KARACHI: North Nazimabad Deputy Commissioner, Hazim Bangwar, has announced on his official Twitter account that efforts have commenced to clean up the nalas in the area, in an effort to prevent water overflow during the upcoming monsoon season.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to mitigate the effects of heavy rainfall in the region.
In a meeting held with the rescue department, the deputy commissioner emphasized the importance of proper coordination and communication during emergency situations, particularly in the event of flooding or other natural disasters.
In another development, the authorities are also installing street lights throughout North Nazimabad to improve visibility and enhance safety during the evenings.
Bangwar has urged residents to bring to his attention any streets that may have been overlooked during installation.
The deputy commissioner’s efforts to improve infrastructure and reduce the impact of adverse weather conditions have been widely praised by locals.

Good initiative but also clears and clean other major areas also like Teen Hatti, MA jinnah District central and All Karachi. There is so many roads are in under construction, Rains are Wealth but it’s our mis management from many years Karachites suffering from the bad situation, Hopefully this year they will not disappoint us.
