Officials Visit Garrison City to Review Progress of Safe City Project

RAWALPINDI: The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Punjab Sajid Zafar Dall, along with Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chatha and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Syed Khurram Ali, conducted a visit to various areas of Rawalpindi city to assess the progress of the Safe City Project.

The visit aimed to review the implementation and effectiveness of the project in enhancing security measures.

During the visit, the officials visited key locations including Kacheri Chowk, Peshawar Road, IJP Road, Piwadhai, and Liaquat Bagh.

Furthermore, they were also briefed about the project’s impact on the security situation in Rawalpindi and its contribution to crime prevention.

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Punjab emphasized the significance of the Safe City project in combating crime and creating a sense of security among citizens.

He emphasized that the Safe City Project, being launched in Rawalpindi and Murree, will significantly contribute to maintaining law and order.

The Commissioner also stated that the project is of great public interest, and the administration is fully committed to its successful implementation.
