Pakistan Railway Takes Action Against Illegally Constructed CNG Station in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Railways (PR) initiated action against a filling station and a CNG station built illegitimately on PR property in the Tehkal neighborhood of Peshawar.

According to a news statement released here, the operation was carried out as per the instructions of Divisional Superintendent (DS) Peshawar, Nasir Khalili.

Furthermore, Deputy Director Property and Land, Ahmad Jehanzeb and his team including IOW Peshawar, Muhammad Ali, PWI, Taqiuddin, Inspector Land, Majid Khan, and Cantt SHO, Jamal Nasir took part in the raid over the site.

The sources informed that Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) allowed the unlawful building despite repeated requests from the Railway authorities to the PDA and the owner of the pump to relinquish the land.

However, the Railway team went to the location and cleared the encroachments along with the assistance of the police officials and encroachment staff.
