LAHORE: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) has been working diligently to open the Kalma Chowk underpass and surrounding roads for traffic by February.
PCBDDA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Imran Amin shared this update while reviewing the progress of the project.
He also announced that both barrels of the Central Business District (CBD) Punjab Boulevard project would be completed by that time.
The authority has already finished excavating a rainwater storage tank in Saint Mary Park and cementing the underpass’s roof.
The Kalma Chowk redesign project, which aims to improve traffic flow and provide access to the newly-constructed smart downtown, includes the construction of two underpasses and an overhead bridge.
