LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved nine development schemes worth PKR 16 billion for the current year.
According to the details, the approval was given at the PDWP’s 16th meeting held in Lahore.
Following are the projects that were approved by the authority.
- PKR 1.022 billion allocated for the restoration of Sahiwal-Arifwala Road to Harappa Bypass via Malan Shah Chowk in Sahiwal
- PKR 4.23 billion allocated for the rehabilitation of the road from Sahiwal to Pakpattan
- PKR 1.45 billion to be spent on for the rehabilitation of Pakpattan Kamir Road
- PKR 2.199 billion for the rehabilitation of the road from Pakpattan to Marlay Chowk
- PKR 441.7 million for the rehabilitation of the road from Hamber to Bhabra in Mandi Bahhudin
- PKR 558.4 billion for the rehabilitation of the road from Gojra to Qadirabad
- PKR 692 million for the construction of a parking plaza at DHQ, Multan
- PKR 2.366 billion for the construction of bachelor accommodation and Judicial Rest House at Dharampura, Lahore
- PKR 3.03 billion for the improvement of the Sheikhupura-Hafizabad road via Hiran Minar Interchange M-2, and Waris Shah Darbar Jandiala Sher Khan
