PDWP Punjab Authorizes 4 Uplift Schemes

LAHORE: With a total projected cost of Rs. 3,861.654 million, 4 development initiatives in different sectors were authorized by the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP).

The 38th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), presided over by the chairman of the Planning and Development Board for the current fiscal year 2022–2023, adopted these plans.

The approved development schemes included the construction of the Judicial Complex at Kamalia, Toba Tek Singh, at the cost of Rs. 483.330 million,

Furthermore, the construction of a bridge and approach road to Parking at Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi, at the cost of Rs. 1,314.595 million was also granted approval.

Additionally, the meeting also authorized the restoration of houses and related structures in Canal Colony Sulemanki Barrage at a cost of Rs. 558.168 million, and the rehabilitation of obsolete bulldozers for sustainable land development activities to provide food security (2021-2022 to 2022-23).

The Provincial Secretary P&D Board Dr. Muhammad Sohail Anwar Chaudhary, the Planning & Development Board’s members, the Provincial Secretaries of the relevant Provincial Departments, and other officials attended the meeting.
