MULTAN: Barrister Azfar Ali Nasir, the Punjab Caretaker Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Public Health Engineering, and Housing and Urban Planning, expressed disappointment over the poor condition of parks in the city during his visit on Friday.
He directed the Park and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to enhance the greenery, plant more trees, and improve cleanliness in city parks.
The minister emphasized the need for PHA officials to diligently and honestly perform their duties, warning that any negligence would not be tolerated.
During his visit to Qasim Bagh Park, managed by PHA, the minister planted a sapling and instructed officials to take immediate measures to enhance the park’s condition.
Besides, the minister inspected the sewerage cleaning work carried out by officials and workers of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) at Zafar Street near Pul Mauj Darya.
