MULTAN: During a massive operation that was conducted on Tuesday, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) cleared encroachments and an illegal nursery from Jinnah Park.
As per the details, the PHA squad started a large operation in Jinnah Park on the specific orders of Director General PHA, Asif Rauf Khan, and cleared encroachments as well as illegally taken land for a nursery.
Besides, several security officers and other employees took part in the operation, which was managed by the Director of Marketing for PHA Hafiz Usama, and the Administrator for Parks Ghaffar Shahid.
In a statement, the DG PHA stated that there was a zero-tolerance policy against encroachment and unauthorized development in parks.
He claimed that to accommodate the residents, the operations would continue every day at several locations.
The DG added that the finest amenities were being provided at parks to revive leisure activities, adding that, parks’ landscaping was also receiving special attention.
