PHA Multan Starts Repair and Renovation of the Big Clock

MULTAN: To preserve the historical integrity of the city of saints, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) began repairing and renovating the big clock (Ghanta Ghar) located at Qila Kuhna Qasim Bagh on Thursday.

According to the sources, Asif Rauf Khan, Director General of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), issued specific directions to speed up the big clock’s beautification, reconstruction, and repair work.

PHA had finished installing carpet and marigold flowers as part of the beautification plan, but the remaining tasks, such as installing lighting and other things, would soon be completed, said the sources.

According to PHA spokesman Jalaluddin, the planting of marigold flowers is now taking place in parks, green belts, and at various city junctions.

Furthermore, at the same time, cleaning and tree trimming tasks are progressing quickly in parks and green belts and various other development initiatives are also under progress.
