MULTAN: The Director General of Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), Asif Rauf Khan, announced on Wednesday that various initiatives were being taken to ensure the provision of the best recreational points for special children at parks in the city.
During his visit to Madni Park and other green belts, Khan stated that a “Disable Friendly Enclave Area” has been established for special children at Madni Park.
He also shared that several other initiatives were underway at various parks to facilitate the public.
Khan directed concerned officers to ensure maximum tree plantation and best cleanliness arrangements at Sewera Chowk and Nangana Chowk.
He informed that development projects for the construction of BZU Chowk would soon be completed and that no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
Besides, Khan also emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards people involved in littering green belts.
He added that large trees would be planted at Nandla Chowk to Northern Bypass Chowk, further improving the beauty of the city.
