PHATA Approves Another Housing Society ‘Prism Town’ in Gujar Khan

LAHORE: The Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) approved a new private housing scheme called ‘Prism Town’ on Tuesday, with a 20% quota set aside for the Naya Pakistan Housing Program.

PHATA’s 87th board meeting gave the approval, which was held at the Housing Department and presided over by Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal.

As per the details, the low-cost housing society would be constructed in Rawalpindi’s Mouza Pharwal Dolal tehsil Gujar Khan.

Mian Aslam Iqbal gave instructions to guarantee that low-cost housing schemes were to be completed on time.

He also suggested that a focal person be assigned at the SMBR office to speed up such initiatives.

Low-cost housing initiatives are designed to give homeless people a place to live and to cater to that need, the government’s top priority is the Naya Pakistan housing project, he added.

The PHATA Board members, developers, and additional secretary for housing were also present during the meeting.
