Minister Housing Aslam Iqbal Announces Three Affordable Housing Schemes

LAHORE: Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Mian Aslam announced three affordable housing schemes at the 86th Board meeting of the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA).

Alnoor Garden Residency in Sangla Hill, Al Rasheed Garden in Gujranwala, and Campbellpur Greens in Attock are three housing developments that will provide access to high-quality and affordable prices.

It has been decided to form a commission to examine the housing schemes. PHATA also aligns itself with the division for other administrative matters and making rolls for its employees.

Moreover, it has decided to allocate a 20 percent quota for New Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP).

The minister emphasized that there is a need to place the minister in a productive workplace and support the developer as dishonesty will not be tolerated in this group.

The Minister also said that Naya Pakistan Housing Project was the top priority of the government. He added a special cell to attract investment from Pakistanis residing in the housing sector.
He further urged the developers to finish the housing projects within the specified time.
