MULTAN: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has taken a commendable step by announcing the allocation of plots to honor the sacrifices of Punjab Police Shuhada (martyrs) within private housing societies under its jurisdiction.
During a meeting held on Tuesday, Zahid Ikram, the Director General of MDA, engaged with housing societies’ owners and developers to discuss this initiative.
It was revealed that two or three plots will be designated specifically for the martyrs of the police force.
Zahid Ikram emphasized that several major cities across the province have already taken the lead in reserving plots for Punjab Police Shuhada.
Recognizing this as a noble endeavor, he urged housing societies to actively participate in this initiative and contribute to the cause.
Besides, the Director General also highlighted the importance of collaborating with all stakeholders to establish a consistent and fair approach to implementing this initiative.
